reasons
For those of you who read this blog enough to wonder, why is Denise suddenly into politics? Read this article. I am so annoyed at every sexist remark that has been made in the last few months and extremely angered by the fact that nobody seems to notice. What is the deal? What is about sexism that makes it so acceptable, while every comment that is negative about Obama is immediately considered "racist?" The whole thing makes me sick to my stomach.

Once upon a time
A sampling of photos from the Connecticut flower and garden show in Hartford. The theme was "Once Upon a Time." It certainly got me thinking spring! Unfortunately, now it is snowing!
Jonathan really loved the bees and the butterflies. (Oh, and the ladies running the booths... one told me he was a real flirt!)
I got some soil tested at the UCONN site- apparently our ph level is good- who knew?

Dancing with the Stars- photo with the dancers!
Finally! I thought they had lost our picture, but here it is! This one is NOT a green screen- we got autographs from Jonathan (great name! hee hee) and Mark. For those of you that pay attention to these things- Jonathan was the dancer who danced with Marie Osmond and Mark danced with Sabrina (one of the Cheetah girls?). I thought it was pretty neat of them to sign autographs and take pictures before performing in the show. I'm glad we got in early enough to be a part of it!
